ATI is stands for Advanced Training Institute and this placed at Dasnagar,Howrah.
The advanced Training Institute Kolkata popularly Known as ATI Kolkata was Established on 23.09.1961 as Pioneer Training Institute Under DGET , Ministry of Labour, Govt. Of India.
ATI Kolkata is most successful technical institute in the list of other ATI's in India. It have large workshop area and campus with boy's and girl's hostel.
The first Craft Training Instructor Institute was Established in 1948. 5 more Institute namely Central Institute for Instructors called ATI ( Advanced Training Institute ) at Ludhiana, Mumbai, Howrah, Hyderabad, Kanpur was Established in 1960.
Instructors from Government and Private ITIs Centres Established by Industries under the Apprentice Act are Provided Training.
The Instructor Training Programme has also Started at Advanced Training Institute (ATI), Chennai and ATI-Electronic and Process Instrumentation (ATI-EPIs), Hyderabad and Dehradun.
The Institutes meeting the Standard would be affiliated with NCVT.
